Tier II
Emerging Leaders
Development Training Module
The Emerging Leaders Development Training (Tier II) is designed to guide first-time supervisors and early-stage leaders through the critical transition from being individual contributors to leading people and processes. At this stage, leaders face the challenge of balancing personal growth with the responsibility of influencing others.
The program is structured around four key focus areas — Interpersonal Influence, Communication, Self-Regulation, and Early Team Leadership — each connecting directly to lessons that develop leadership confidence, empathy, and execution skills.
By progressing through this tier, Emerging Leaders gain the mindset and capabilities to lead with clarity, composure, and compassion. They learn to influence others authentically, communicate effectively, manage emotions under pressure, and build early leadership systems that prepare them for mid-level management. Together, these areas form the bridge from doing the work to leading the people who do the work.

Next Step: Personalized Coaching or Group Workshop
To strengthen practical application of the Emerging Leaders Development Training (Tier II), participants are invited to continue their growth through a personalized coaching session or group workshop. These post-training sessions bridge the gap between learning and real-world leadership practice through guided reflection, skill application, and accountability planning.
Recommended Follow-Up Options:
- Individual Coaching (60 minutes): Focus on applying leadership concepts to current challenges, refine interpersonal strategies, and strengthen supervisory confidence.
- Group Workshop (2 hours): Engage in scenario-based discussions to practice communication, delegation, and feedback in real leadership contexts.

Flow Rationale
The Emerging Leaders learning experience is intentionally structured to reflect the natural evolution of first-time supervisors who are transitioning from individual contribution to leadership impact. Each stage builds on the previous one, ensuring a cohesive developmental journey from understanding others to leading teams effectively.
Stage 1 (Interpersonal Influence): Guides learners to understand how their interactions, credibility, and authenticity affect others. This stage strengthens their ability to influence without authority, manage upward relationships, and connect with diverse individuals through respect and empathy.
Stage 2 (Communication): Equips learners with practical strategies to communicate clearly, confidently, and inclusively. By learning to delegate effectively, handle difficult conversations, and facilitate engagement, leaders begin to shape their voice and presence as communicators who inspire collaboration.
Stage 3 (Self-Regulation): Helps learners develop awareness of their emotions, reactions, and behaviors under stress. By practicing emotional intelligence and psychological safety, they build composure, empathy, and consistency—qualities essential for maintaining trust and balance in leadership.
Stage 4 (Early Team Leadership): Moves learners from self and interpersonal mastery to team application. Leaders learn to guide peers, promote accountability, and make ethical decisions that set the tone for team performance and culture. This stage solidifies their readiness to transition into more advanced supervisory and management roles.
